Mykayla Fitzpatrick is a versatile creative in all areas: performer, teacher, director, and fine artist. Originally from Colorado and now based in Boston, she has spent the last few years building her home voice studio, singing with regional companies, and assistant stage directing across the US.

Sought after for her coloratura timbre and diverse range as an actress, Ms. Fitzpatrick’s recent roles include Patience in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Patience, Kim McAfee in Bye Bye Birdie, Gretel in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, Laurie Moss in Copland’s The Tender Land, and Despina in Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte.

Ms. Fitzpatrick strives to create a positive and inclusive space in her voice studio for anyone who loves to sing; from community singers who want to feel more confident at karaoke, high school students looking to get the lead role in the musical or ace their all-state solo, and even little ones exploring voice lessons at the elementary level, there’s a place for everyone! She enjoys teaching crossover, CCM, and classical techniques, and has a research background and experience with students experiencing voice changes from hormone therapies. Her students have been accepted into numerous university music and theatre programs across the country.

As a stage director, Ms. Fitzpatrick aims to bridge the accessibility gap of operas, with her goal always being to stage shows in a way her little sister will understand and enjoy . Recently she has directed Amahl and the Night Visitors (2025, Music on Site), and has assistant directed at Quisisana Resort (Maine) and Music on Site (Kansas) annually since 2023.

Ms. Fitzpatrick has been a fine artist from a young age, and has recently done graphic design for Colorado Springs Chamber Chorale, Quisisana Resort, Music on Site, Loveland Opera Theatre, and is the in-house Graphic Designer for Art Song Colorado (Denver, CO). She regularly live paints for local musicians at concerts, and can often be seen painting commissions on her front porch.
